Luke Keeton, the second generation of Keeton’s involved with Keeton Industries, also discovered his passion for fish and lakes very early in life. He spent much of his childhood being involved with sustainable aquaculture solutions in the family business and decided to pursue a career in Biology. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology/Marine Biology from Oregon State University in 2001.
Kurt Hansen, Pond and Lake Account Executive
Kurt Hansen, a key member of our sales team, has a degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University. He has spent years working in pond and lake restoration and management, and has a real knack for solving even the most challenging water quality issues for our customers. Mike Moore, Aquaculture Account Executive
Mike Moore is an accomplished aquatic biologist with expertise in fisheries and aquaculture. His knowledge of aquaculture and aquatic ecosystems make him an outstanding resource. Mike’s technical savvy and diverse experience allow him to find solutions for even the most challenging conditions. Mike received his degree in fish and wildlife biology from Montana State University-Bozeman and he has worked for government and private organizations for over 20 years, improving processes and production in the United States and internationally. Becky Rivoire, Ph. D., Microbiologist
Becky brings a broad spectrum of microbial technical expertise to Keeton Industries. She received her doctorate in Microbiology from Colorado State University studying Mycobacterium leprae. Her past work experience with environmental bacteria and infectious pathogens in both academia and industrial settings provide a solid foundation for addressing aquaculture and probiotic needs.
Jim Keeton, Director of Science and Technologies
Jim’s interest in fish began at a young age as he enjoyed his favorite childhood pastime – fishing on the Keeton Ranch. As he reached adulthood, he turned his interest into a career with a degree in Fisheries Biology from Colorado State University. For more than 37 years, he has been at the forefront of developing aquatic technology for successful fish farming and sustainable aquaculture design and manufacturing solutions.
We also employ a very professional, well trained staff of sales, technical, production, and installation personnel.
