KI-Nitrifier, an amber gel boasting high concentration of genuine nitrifying microorganisms, is designed to quickly restart difficult biological filters by providing an immediate source of nitrifying microorganisms for biochemically oxidizing ammonia and nitrite.

Restoration of true nitrifying microbes can take up to 7 days for full ammonia reduction and up to 28 days for the full colonization of nitrite-reducing organisms in biological filters employed in wastewater treatment and commercial aquaculture setups.

Physical Specs

KI Nitrifier comes as a single 70 gram gel pack.

Storage and Handling

Must ship overnight freight in refrigerated box.

DO NOT FREEZE. Gel pack must be refrigerated until used. For best results use within 6 months of receipt.

Application Rate

Mix 1/7 gel pack with 1 quart of water.  10 grams treats up to 10,000 gallons. Use every three days for nine days.
