World Aquaculture 2025 Heads to Qingdao, China
For the first time, World Aquaculture 2025 will be held in Qingdao, China, drawing participants from across the Asia-Pacific and beyond. This marks the event’s return to China after over two decades since the 2002 conference, spotlighting China’s rapidly growing aquaculture industry.
Qingdao stands out as a hub for China’s marine economy, marine fishery, equipment manufacturing, and shipping. Home to Ocean University of China and the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute, the city also boasts the world’s fourth-largest port, positioning it as a rising international shipping hub for Northeast Asia.
