The China Society of Fisheries has CANCELLED the World Aquaculture China conference and exposition scheduled for April 2025 in Qingdao. The cancelled meeting will be replaced by World Aquaculture India in November 10-13, 2025.
World Aquaculture 2025 Heads to Qingdao, China
For the first time, World Aquaculture 2025 will be held in Qingdao, China, drawing participants from across the Asia-Pacific and beyond. This marks the event’s return to China after over two decades since the 2002 conference, spotlighting China’s rapidly growing aquaculture industry.
Qingdao stands out as a hub for China’s marine economy, marine fishery, equipment manufacturing, and shipping. Home to Ocean University of China and the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute, the city also boasts the world’s fourth-largest port, positioning it as a rising international shipping hub for Northeast Asia.

AquaExpo 2024
The most important technical and commercial aquaculture event in the continent, which has been held for more than 20 years in Ecuador; organized by the National Chamber of Aquaculture, with the main objective of promoting knowledge and innovation in the aquaculture community, on a global scale.
Its structure combines a trade show and a scientific-technical congress. Hundreds of Ecuadorian and foreign companies participate in the tradeshow, exposing the highlights of their portfolio of products and services.
